Tournament Rules and Guidelines (semi final draft)
Notice:
~there will be an entry fee(15$ for the players only) onlookers may be permitted to enter if room isn't crowded. The fee will grant you access to both tournies although participation on both is mandatory(your call). The money will be given to the winners of the Maintourney(70%) and Freestyle(30%), although I bet you all just wanna play Armored Core with experienced veterans, the money is just extra :D
~Cheating will not be tolerated in any way, those found using game shark or other types of cheats will be booted out of the tourney and banned for life from future tournaments.
~Bring your own Controller and headphone(optional)
~If possible, name your file TOURNEY ACs and try to have both ACs in that same file(for free style and Main), it's just an option to help the tourny hosts register people faster, you don't have to but it would be appreciated.
~Data displays should be off if you are using regular 3rd person view, and it will be allowed only if you are on first person view!!!
~One memory Card per person
~No loud mouthing or any type of offensive behaviors, if you lose, take it like a man and don't act like a chump, sportsmanship is key. While spectating other matches please refrain from coaching or making any type of comments that might alter the match or any kind, just watch and be quiet until it's over, thank you.
Tournament rules:
~There will be 2 tournaments the Main Tournament and a Freestyle tourney, tournament pairings will be determined upon registering, which is during 10AM-1pm, when people are doing warm up plays. In the event that there will be an odd # of people, then the pool system will take effect. The pool system is basically taking the odd man out(possibly between me & MTC) and have the tournament 1st round pairings ensue, once the advancers have been determined, the odd man out will be either paired with a lone advancer or gets to choose one of the advancers and if he/she wins, will then take that defeated person's place or if he/she losses then the winner gets to keep their place.
~Main Tournament rules:
1.) OP-I not allowed
2.) One design per person
3.) 1st match will be held in the ARENA stage and have a 5min time limit, from there Loser gets to pick next stage.
4.) Best out of 3 matches, so 2 wins to move forward to the next round.
5.) 3-5min time limit, Time limit will be determined by the Winner of the last bout.
6.) Weapon breaking option will be disabled, Weapon pick up will be enabled.
7.) All stages are available for battle with the exception of the Parking lot and Space Dome.
8.) Losers up to the semi finals will be in the loser's bracket fighting for 3rd place. The Loser's bracket will take place after the winner of the tournament has been declared. This part of the tournament will determine overall standings (rank).
~Free Style Tournament rules:
1.) All parts allowed (OP-I included)
2.) 1 AC per person.
3.) 2 wins to move forward to the next round.
4.) Stage selection will always be Random, time limit is 5min per match.
5.) Weapon breaking and Pick up enabled.
6.) There will be no loser's bracket or rankings, there is only the winner.

Tourny may start at 1pm after everyone has had their warm ups and Lunch. Afterwards, if time permits an AI tourny may ensue for the people who have one. Good luck and be there!!
Try to be original in design, I hope I don't see any MG800 on 10ACs or so ;p and best of all, come prepared and at your best shape.
